Southern Ontario Sprints Return to Merrittville This Saturday Night
THOROLD, ONTARIO — The sights and sounds of winged sprint cars return to Merrittville Speedway this Saturday, July 11, as the Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS) make their highly anticipated return to Canada’s longest continually operating dirt track. Presented by Cotton Inc., the event promises an action-packed evening featuring five thrilling divisions as Merrittville Speedway continues its 75th Anniversary season.
Headlining the program will be the Southern Ontario Sprints, bringing their incredible horsepower, breathtaking speed, and edge-of-your-seat excitement to the famed Thorold oval. Fans can expect spectacular side-by-side racing as some of the region’s best sprint car drivers battle for victory.
Joining the Southern Ontario Sprints on the racing card will be the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Hoosier Stocks, Rona Doidge Mod-Lites, and the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders, making for a full night featuring five divisions of racing excitement.
Pit gates open at 4pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm and showtime is at 7pm.
