After Niagara Trailers Night Saturday August 19th – another piece of the 66th Season puzzle will be solved as the 2017 David Chevrolet King of the Crates Series Finale for the S&W Service Centre Sportsman Division will be the featured event.

 

Knapp wins 28th running of Sportsman Sterling Silver Award – Bailey takes seventh while Moulton, Winger, McIntosh and Susice take second Victories

Niagara Employment Help Centre Night at Merittville Speedway featured the 28th running of the Sterling Silver Trophy for the S&W Service Centre Sportsman Division. Niagara Falls’ Driver Rob Knapp scored his first Feature Win of 2017 taking home the special award.

With Merrittville Speedway’s Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series Race Teams coming off one of the busiest stretches of the season, the S&W Service Centre Sportsman Division Drivers will contend for the 27th Annual Sterling Silver Sportsman Trophy … the Hoosier Stocks will compete in the second Duel on the Dirt Home Track Event. Kids have no doubt have been busy as well – preparing for Saturday August 12th’s Annual Box Car Races.

 

Matt Sheppard Wins 5th 
Bob St. Amand Sr Memorial

For the fifth time in eight editions of the Bob St. Amand Sr Memorial at the Merrittville Speedway, “Super Matt” Matt Sheppard from Waterloo, NY was victorious after 100 laps. The win for Sheppard was his fifth on the Series, the fourth victory in a row on the tour, and earned a $6,000 payday for his efforts.

The weekend of the summer is here for Merrittville Speedway Race Fans and Teams and Tim Hortons will serve up the opener Saturday August 5th with a Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program that features the second round of the Eataly Foods Pro 4 Triple Truck Challenge Series and the Thunder on the Dirt Vintage Racing Series.

For the fourth time in 2017 and the second straight week, Brad Rouse visited Victory Lane in the S&W Service Centre Sportsman Division. The St. Catharines racer won the second round of the David Chevrolet King of the Crates Series – part of Hingston Metal Fabricators Night Saturday July 22nd.

So far in the 2017 Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Karting Series Season, St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Victory Lane has only seen one Quick Ink Custom Screen Printing Junior 2 Feature Winner as Joey Priestley took home his 7th straight Feature Win Tuesday July 18th.

It was a night of celebration for the newest honorees of the CAA Niagara Dedication to Racing Awards, the newest inductees into the L. St. Amand Enterprises Wall of Fame and drivers reaching victory lane.
