Schools Out for Summer Bash this Saturday Night at Merrittville
THOROLD, ONTARIO (June 22, 2026) – Merrittville Speedway is ready to celebrate the start of summer in a big way as Bobcat of Hamilton presents the “Schools Out For Summer Bash” this coming Saturday night, June 27th, as part of Merrittville’s 75th Anniversary season.
Fans can expect a full night of exciting racing action featuring all five divisions of the Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series, highlighted by the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds (Double Features), the Baron Roofing & Siding/Semenuks ESSO DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders.
Adding to the festivities, Merrittville Speedway will host a Canada Day Red & White Apparel Contest, encouraging fans to show their Canadian pride by wearing their best red-and-white outfits. The evening will conclude with a spectacular Canada Day Fireworks Show, providing a fitting celebration to kick off the summer season.

Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM, front gates will open at 5:30 PM, with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 PM. Racing action will begin at 7:00 PM.
