Mother Nature Claims the Merrittville's May 23rd Event

THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 22, 2026) … Due to the impending weather forecast, Merrittville Speedway management made the decision to cancel the racing activities scheduled for Saturday, May 23.

Coming up on Saturday, May 30 is the Big Bike Giveaway! AutoFX will present the full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series show featuring the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders, and the RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites will fill out the racing card. The DIRTcar Sportsman will be racing in round two of the West Region for the DIRTcar Sportsman Series. Pit gates will swing open on Saturday at 5:00pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, with racing beginning at 7pm.
