Victoria Day Weekend Doubleheader On Tap at Merrittville Speedway

THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 12, 2026) … This upcoming Victoria Day holiday weekend, Merrittville Speedway will be hosting its first doubleheader of the season, with races on Saturday May 16 and Monday, May 18.

The Saturday night program is a full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series show presented by 2Cool Automotive and VP Racing Fuels featuring the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders, and the RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites will fill out the racing card. Pit gates will swing open on Saturday at 5:00pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, with racing beginning at 7pm.

Then on Victoria Day Monday, MSL Watson Landscaping and Construction along with Maserace presents a 40-lap feature for the 358 Modifieds, as part of the Tom Cosgrove 358 Monday Night Bonus race, plus visits from the Northeast Late Model Alliance and the UMP/Canadian Modifieds featuring Ken Schrader. The DIRTcar Sportsman and 4 Cylinders will fill out the card. Pit gates will swing open at 4:00pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, with racing beginning at 7pm.
