Lococo's Presents Spring Sizzler This Saturday at Merrittville
THOROLD, ONTARIO (April 20, 2026) … The 2026 Spring Sizzler at Merrittville Speedway presented by Lococo’s will be taking place this coming Saturday, April 25 at “Canada’s Oldest Dirt Track”. The Spring Sizzler will once again serve as the season opening race for both the track and the Southern Ontario Sprints, as the track’s opener was rained out this past Saturday.
This coming Saturday night’s program will also support the Nancy Willa Ross Foundation, supporting youth’s mental healthcare in Niagara. The foundation is guided by compassion, collaboration, and community, and strives to make mental healthcare accessible to those who need it most across Niagara. The foundation will be at the track with an informational table, as well as fundraising opportunities for race fans to support the foundation. On the card will be the Southern Ontario Sprints in their season opener, plus the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Hoosier Stocks, RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the All-Star Concrete 4 Cylinders.
Pit gates will swing open at 4:00pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, with racing beginning at 7pm.
