Fall Brawl Weekend to Close Books on 2025 Merrittville Speedway Season
THOROLD, ONTARIO (September 24, 2025) … Merrittville Speedway will be hosting the inaugural Fall Brawl Weekend on Friday October 3 and Saturday October 4. In competition throughout the weekend, fans will see both the Southern Ontario Sprints and the Crate Sprints. Plus, the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman, Duel on the Dirt Combined race for the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders and the Hoosier Stocks, plus the RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites.
The Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds will be following and utilizing the DIRTcar 358 Modified rule book for this event. That means that the sail panels that fans are accustomed to will not be seen on the 358 Modifieds during the Fall Brawl. The only exception is a weight of a minimum of 2300 lbs and alcohol will be allowed for those who run the W-16 motor combination.
This weekend will be the Insta Insulation Duel on the Dirt Finale for both the 4-Cylinders and Hoosier Stocks/Thunder Stocks. The 4-Cylinder champion will be crowned on Friday evening at Canada's Oldest running Dirt Track, and Saturday will see the Hoosier Stock/Thunder Stock championship awarded.
The Southern Ontario Sprints A-Main on Saturday night will pay $4000 to win.
Pit gates on both Friday October 3 and Saturday October 4th will open at 4pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm and racing will begin at 7pm.
Racing Friday will be the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Crate Sprints, Hoosier Stocks, and the 4 Cylinders. Saturday night will feature the Southern Ontario Sprints, plus the 358 Modifieds, Hoosier Stocks, Mod Lites and the 4 Cylinders.
