DIRTcar Sportsman Points Finale This Saturday Night
THOROLD, ONTARIO (August 25, 2025) … Merrittville Speedway will be in action on Saturday of Labour Day Weekend as Cotton Inc presents a full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program, headlined by the DIRTcar Sportsman 50-lap points finale.
A full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program of the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Baron Roofing/Semenuk’s ESSO DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders will be presented.
Heading into Cotton Inc night for the DIRTcar Sportsman, St. Catharines, Ontario’s Cody McPherson has a 166-point lead over Jacob Chevalier from Port Colborne. Ridgeway’s Noah Mamo is 182 points behind McPherson, but just 16 points behind Chevalier. Matteo Panunte from Port Colborne is just nine points behind Mamo, and 27 markers behind Chevalier.
Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will begin at 7pm.
