PRO Rider FMX Show Plus Full Card of Racing This Saturday Night
THOROLD, ONTARIO (August 18, 2025) … “Canada’s Oldest Dirt Track”, Merrittville Speedway will be back in action this week as Service Master Niagara presents the full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program and back by popular demand, the PRO Rider FMX Show.
A full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program of the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Baron Roofing/Semenuk’s ESSO DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders will be presented.
Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will begin at 7pm. Fans can avoid the lines at the ticket booth by purchasing your advance tickets online.

This past Saturday night was Autograph Night that saw both new and returning drivers visit victory lane. In the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Gary Lindberg was once again victorious over James Michael Friesen, Tommy Flannigan, Scott Wood, and Jay Mallory. Matteo Panunte from Port Colborne, Ontario scored the win in the Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman over Cody McPherson, Dan McKay, Noah Mamo, and Curtis Friesen. Kyle Pelrine from Smithville, Ontario won the Hoosier Stock main event over Dave Bailey, Mark Fawcett, Jason Fontaine, and Zack Bleich. Cohen Corbett from St. Catharines, Ontario won the RONA Doidge Mod Lites feature over Shawn Sliter, RJ Pietz, Tyler Winger and Dillan Sliter. Alex Riley from St. Catharines, Ontario won in the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders over Mason Anderson, Hana Rothwell, Jeremy Cooper, and Rob Goulding.
