All-Canadian Tribute Weekend This Weekend at Merrittville
THOROLD, ONTARIO (July 28, 2025) … A longstanding tradition in Southern Ontario racing was the All-Canadian Championships at Humberstone Speedway. With the closure of Humberstone, Merrittville Speedway will be hosting the All-Canadian Tribute Weekend this coming weekend, with three days of racing excitement.
Saturday night’s program will be presented by Niagara Employment Help Centre and will feature the full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program of the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Baron Roofing/Semenuk’s ESSO DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders. Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will begin at 7pm. Fans can avoid the lines at the ticket booth on opening day, by purchasing your advance tickets online.
Sunday, August 3, Flat Track Canada will bring the National tour to Merrittville for Round 3 of their 2025 season. Practice begins at 4pm, heats begin at 5pm, and racing will take place at 7pm. General Admission is $25, Kids (10+) and Seniors are $20, and kids under 10 will be admitted FREE. Civic Holiday Monday will be the 4th Annual Canadian Grand Nationals presented by Baron Roofing. The Civic Holiday special will be headlined by a 50-lap 358 Modified feature and a fan draw with $1,000 going to a lucky fan. A full Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program will be presented. Pit gates open at 5pm, grandstands open at 5:30pm, and racing will get underway at 7pm.
