THOROLD, ONTARIO (April 26, 2022) … The first points paying race of the 2022 season at Merrittville Speedway will take place on Saturday, April 30 as Peters Construction Group presents the racing program.

Fans will see the Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modifieds, Right Choice Auto & Leisure DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders, and the RONA Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites all in competition. It will be the first points paying race of the season as the Spring Sizzler last week did not award any track points.
Fresh off wins in the 2022 Spring Sizzler presented by JNE Recovery and DDL &Co., Pete Bicknell (358 Modifieds), James Friesen (Sportsman), Dave Bailey (Hoosier Stocks), and Tyler Lafantaisie (4 Cylinders) will try to go two-for-two to start the new season.
Pit gates will open at 5:00pm with grandstands at 5:30pm, hot laps beginning at 6:40pm, and racing will get underway at 7:00pm.
