“It was a good deal,” relates Lucas Oil 358 Modified Shoot Out Champion Scott Wood, “ I enjoyed going to the different tracks … I’ve got to thank Lucas Oil and all the tracks for putting everything together … while I run against these guys every weekend … the series brought us to some neutral playing fields.”

For the Sportsmen it all started at the Humberstone Speedway with a 50 lap event Sunday May 28th and Wayne Conn came home the winner.  A visit to Ohsweken Speedway for the second round Friday June 23rd found Conn again in top spot.

“We’re really looking forward to next year’s edition,” adds Humberstone GM and Race Director Bob Davidson, “ with the help of Lucas Oil and Dirt … both rookie drivers and veterans were able to share the spotlight in both divisions.”

“This new and exciting series gave our race teams a chance to participate in a lucrative series,” adds Merrittville’s Erica Bicknell, “ we’re hoping to build on the initial success of this year.”
