Merrittville’s 74th Season Hops into Action This Weekend
THOROLD, ONTARIO (April 14, 2025) … The 74th season of racing at the Merrittville Speedway will be hopping into action this coming weekend with events taking place on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19.
On Friday, April 18, Dube Realtors will present the 2nd Annual Merrittville Speedway Easter Egg Hunt. Carnival games, bouncy castles, balloon animals, fire trucks, treats, food, prizes, live trivia, race car displays, and of course, a visit from the Easter Bunny! Family egg hunts will take place every hour from 1-4pm. The Free Admission event is a must do event during Easter break.
The 2025 season lid-lifter is on Saturday, April 19, presented by Peter’s Construction Group. The entire Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program featuring the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Allstar Concrete 4 Cylinders, and the RONA/Doidge Mod Lites will all be in action. Pit gates will open at 4pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will begin at 7pm.
