Thorold, Ontario (August 1) – Travis Majuery, Kevin Daunce and Bob D’Ambrosio all won their first Summer Series Kart Features at Merrittville Speedway July 31st in the RCM Racing Equipment Cassell Manufacturing Junior 1 and Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Divisions respectively.

For Majuery, it was his first career win after moving up to the division after several seasons in the Novice Division. Majuery became only the second divisional winner of the season as Jacob Lutz had won the first 9 events of the season.

Bobby D’Ambrosio was another first time Summer Series winner in the Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Medium Division.

Colin Spatorico won the KC Auto Parts Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Heavy Division while Steven Beckett and Alex Riley won their respective features in the Drummond Home Hardware Garden City Auto Complex Novice Division.

Kart Race Teams are reminded that the next event is Wednesday August 8th. Grandstand Admission is free – Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00.
