While both drivers started on the pole of their events, Lutz had to hold off the challenges of veterans Ben Werth and Blaine Barrow while Brown made his first win impressive – winning by a quarter lap on the field. 

Ron Spatorico won his third straight Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Feature but in doing so had to hold off the challenges of Joey Mastroianni. Mastroianni had his best showing to date in the top class to take the runner-up spot. 

In other Original Pizza Logs Feature action, Colin Spatorico made it two in a row in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division. 

In the Drummond Home Hardware Novice Division that only runs heat until school finishes, Matthew Veihdeffer, Travis Miller, Brandon Hedden and Noah Caperchione won their heats. 

Kart Racing continues Tuesday June 6th. Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
