In other Original Pizza Logs Feature action, Ben Werth won his fourth of the Summer Series  – taking the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Division.

Ron Spatorico was a second time Summer Series winner in the Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Division as was Noah Caperchione in the Drummond Home Hardware Novice Division First Feature. Brad Webber rounded out the winners – taking his third Drummond Home Hardware Novice Feature.

Garden City Auto Complex joined the supporters of the Merrittville Speedway Kart Club by providing Competition Medallions for the remainder of the season for the Drummond Home Hardware Novice Drivers.

“It’s important for the younger kids,” relates L. St. Amand Enterprises 358 Modified Driver and Garden City owner Dan Miller, “ both Veronica and I are happy to help out … the Novices need some encouragement as they learn the sport.”

Kart Racing continues Tuesday August 22nd. Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
