Country 89 and Giant FM Disc Jockeys become Bus Jockeys in Charity Event – 100 lap Enduro … Train Wreck Monster Truck and other spectacular events will make for some motorized mayhem August 27th

Race Fans can expect a lot of Motorized Mayhem Sunday August 27th when the Seaway Mall Sunday Funday Event features Country 89 and Giant FM On Air Hosts in a Charity Bus Race.

“I was looking for something new to make the 100 lap Enduro more exciting than ever,” said Merrittville Speedway’s Don Spiece, “We thought about Bus Racing and with the incredible support of Country 89 and Giant FM – t’s going to be a great event for all the charities involved.”

Spiece and Race Director Tom Beales have put together quite an event to compliment the Vansickle Pet Valu & Groomingdales 100 lap Enduro Finale accelerated by Niagara College including a freestyle Monster Truck performance by Train Wreck plus a Ladies Race … Backwards Race … Flag Pole Race … Side by Side Race and School Bus Races.

Sunday August 27th will blow your mind with a high octane blast of hard turns and twisted metal all while supporting the worthy causes chosen by the radio personalities.

From Country 89 - Rob Leclerc is racing for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Stephanie Mizzi – the Learning Disabilities Association and Andre Gervais – the Wounded Warriors while GIANT FM’s Brian Salmon is supporting the Alzheimer's Association, KK - Niagara Dog Rescue and Jef Brown the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara.

Race Fans can support their favorite personality and charity by making donations in specially marked jugs that will be set up near the Start Finish Line during the August 19th and August 26th Events.

Donations can also be made on line at either http://www.country89.com/events/view/278 or http://www.giantfm.com/20…/…/14/school-bus-race-for-charity/

The Driver with the most donations will start the Bus Race from the Pole of the special event. The winner will receive a $1000 Donation to his or her Charity.

The ground is already shaking in anticipation for when the large and in charge Train Wreck Monster Truck … almost 11 feet tall powered by a custom built super-charged almost 600 cubic inch engine take to crushing vehicles and performing stunts you won’t believe.

If you would like to be part of the show … there is still time to get your car ready for the 100 lap Enduro and other races - but you will be busy!

Enduro Racing is part SCIENCE, part STUNT, part INFO-TAINMENT and always 100% ADRENALINE and OUTRAGEOUS FUN.

“It’s pretty basic,” adds Beales, “it’s a street car with safety modification – everything else is stock as you found it … an Enduro Car is not a race car – it’s a car that races. Maybe it’s time you placed an end of summer smack down style beating on your Winter Beater … someone you know may have a wreck that they want to get rid of or your closest automotive recycler may have something for you!”

Sunday’s 100 lap Event will find the three Qualifier Winners starting in the first three spots followed by the results from the heats which aren’t mandatory. Following those qualified cars – the field will be filled out by drivers in order of registration date.

More often than not – it’s not important where you start – but where you finish as many of the event’s winners have started deep in the field

Up to August 19th the Registration Fee is $50 and from August 20th to Race Day – it is $75
