MEMBERSHIP TO HAVE IT’S REWARDS ONCE AGAIN AT MERRITTVILLE IN 2008 |

With Merrittville Speedway set to present it’s first
DIRT Weekly Racing Series Event – May 10th, the
Saturday Night track is proud to announce that once
again for 2008 - membership will have it’s rewards.
Partnerships between Merrittville Speedway and a
number of leading racing industry manufacturers have
been established to benefit member drivers through all
5 regular divisions – the Turn 4 Collision 4
Cylinders, Lucas Oil Open Wheel Lites, Hoosier Stocks,
Original Pizza Logs Sportsman and L. St. Amand
Enterprises 358 Modifieds.
In 2007, Member drivers shared in almost $100,000 in
cash, product and other awards.
"It is our pleasure to be able to create a program
that brings together sponsors who provide goods and
services to our racers and the Merrittville Speedway
racers who have a wide variety of choices in who they
purchase these items from.
“The Merrittville Speedway track contingency program
provides an incentive for racers to use these
sponsor's products and a way for sponsors to give back
to the racers who support those businesses with their
purchases," stated (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica
Bicknell.
Beginning with the first points event of the year on
May 10th and continuing through all Merrittville
Speedway events on the 2008 schedule, racers in all
classes will be eligible to earn Point Fund and/or
Product awards at the Awards Banquet at Club
Castropignano provided that they are Merrittville
members and display sponsor decals.
Member drivers have received Decal packages that
include many of the following companies – Bilstein
Sock Absorbers, Hoosier Tire Canada, Inside Track
Motorsport News, Intercomp, ISC Racer’s Tape, Jaz
Products, Kirkey Racing Fabrication, Motorsports
Safety Systems, Port City Racing, R.J.S. Racing
Equipment, Sway-A-Way, Ultra Shield Race Products,
Outerwears and XRP, Inc.
Merrittville Speedway racers will enjoy a "no hassle"
approach to their contingency payouts. Rather than the
racer having to mail paperwork to the contingency
sponsors, then hoping that they will eventually get
paid, the Merrittville Speedway contingency program
will reward racers at the banquet.
Speedway Officials may conduct random inspections of
the racer's vehicles to ensure that the contingency
sponsor's decals are in place.
Drivers that require a new set of decals or have yet
to receive theirs or purchase a membership may contact
Erica Bicknell at the Speedway Office during the week

Race teams are encouraged to visit

for a series of spotlights on the companies that are
part of the 2008 DIRT Weekly Racing Series Membership
Rewards Program.
