Thorold, Ontario (March 5) … Even with today’s
return to a winter wonderland - Merrittville Speedway’s Baron Roofing Spring
Sizzler 100 is now 52 days away and there is still plenty of time to reach one
of the largest expected opening night crowds in 57 Seasons – Saturday April
26th.
“When the gates open this year,” reveals
(Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell, “race fans will notice that while many new
advertisers have joined our valued family of advertisers and sponsors … we
still have a few opportunities available … allowing members of the Niagara
business community – exposure 52 weeks a year in some cases.”
In 2008, the storied Thorold show place is
preparing to welcome several new companies as the 57th Season nears and some
that are expanding their involvement – 1stay tuned to learn more about them as
the Count Down to Green continues.
“Obviously our 10’ x 20’ Billboards deliver the
most impact,” adds Bicknell, “whether day and night along Merrittville Hwy or
in front of captive capacity crowds every Saturday Night … we can provide
something for businesses of any size.”
While a number of Merrittville’s Dirt Weekly
Racing Series Race Teams have been in competition already in 2008 – the
majority of the somewhat 100 race teams that will overflow the Pit Area on a
Saturday Night could not provide the on-track excitement with out the support
of their sponsors either.
A select group will get a head start on
reaching consumers as their cars will be on display at the Pen Centre the week
of March 31st to April 6th.
“Many of our advertisers also support their
favorite driver,” relates Bicknell, “if one of your co-workers or neighbors has
a race car … think of it as investment in the community.”
Merrittville Speedway can also provide a group
of friends, co-workers, team-mates or any type of group – attractive ticket
packages including corporate season tickets.
When the Speedway Office opens for the season
in less than one month’s time – returning Season Ticket holders will be given
first chance at reserving their 2007 Seat before being released to new
subscribers.
Merrittville Speedway General Admission or
Reserved Season Tickets – which are good for all 24 Events that are on the ’08
Schedule – can now be purchased at the Winter Office which is located at
Bicknell Racing Products – 117 Cushman Road in St. Catharines Ontario.
An Adult General Admission Season Ticket sells
for $225.00 while a reserved seat for each and every event is $250.00.
