Thorold, Ontario (May 14) – One of Merrittville’s newest Kart Racers made her first ever trip to KC Auto Parts Victory Lane May 13th as Cierra Black won her first Drummond Home Hardware Garden City Auto Complex Novice 1 Feature. 

Winning his first of the 2008 season in the KC Auto Parts Original Pizza Logs Novice 2 Division was Gene Gregoric. 

Making it two wins on the season were Jacob Lutz, James Moll, Connor Mooradian, Blake Priestley and Mike Journeaux in the RCM Racing Equipment Cassell Manufacturing Junior 1, Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2, Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Heavy, Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Medium and PartSource Masters Original Pizza Logs Divisions respectively. 

Until the kart count rises in the new PartSource Masters Division, they run combined with the Seniors and Journeaux was the top Masters Driver.  

Kart Racing continues Tuesday May 20. Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
